All new patients are offered an initial consultation appointment. This appointment is considerably longer than a normal examination appointment. Your new dentist will thoroughly examine your teeth, gums and the rest of your mouth, taking x-rays where necessary.
This appointment will give your new dentist time to discuss and plan the treatment and preventitive care which best suits your needs. The dentist will examine and chart your teeth and inspect the soft tissues in your mouth. It is also a good time for you to raise any issues about the health or appearance of your teeth and gums that may concern you.
If you are in pain, we will ensure that we make you comfortable again.
Whenever possible, we will offer you comprehensive treatment options; when you are satisfied with your treatment plan we will arrange any further appointments you require.
The new patient private consultation costs £52 for an adult, which includes x rays. (payable on registration) If, when you visit your new dentist, you decide to join our Denplan Care scheme your £52 charge will be refunded after 3 months denplan payments have been received.
We are registering the following types of patients at the moment: New or transferring Denplan patients and Private patients. We will register new NHS patients when we have spaces free.
We look forward to working with you to provide your dental care for many years to come.
MEDICAL HISTORY
When we have received your details we will post you a new patient pack which contains a medical history form.
Please make sure you fill in the name of your doctor and your medical details, including any medication you are currently taking. We would also like to know your NHS number. Your GP has this is you don’t know it. It is the new number with 10 digits.
