Private Fee Schedule and payment policy
It is the policy of this practice to give patients full information about the cost of their dental care before any treatment is undertaken. A written estimate and treatment plan will be provided for all dental treatment other than routine preventative examination and hygiene care. You will be required to sign a copy which is scanned onto your records and then shredded. You will be given a copy of this estimate. Â
Most of our patients are treated under the private care scheme, which means you pay for treatment as you receive it.  .
We use high quality dental laboratories and we are able to take advantage of the best modern dental materials. You will be given an estimate of the cost of laboratory work for crowns, dentures etc, where a precise cost cannot be determined in advance and will receive timely advice of any additional costs of laboratory work where appropriate.Â
We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash.
All patients may opt to join Denplan Care insurance scheme, where a monthly payment is paid by the patient to Denplan. The scheme helps patients to budget for the cost of their dental care and so provides peace of mind. The monthly payment covers all routine dental treatment and emergency call outs at no additional cost and with no claim forms to be completed. You can click here to see more about this scheme or practice staff will be pleased to provide further written information on this scheme. Denplan patients are advised at the time of registration what their plan includes, what is excluded and what costs are involved and how they will be collected.
All patients are given a receipt for payments they make and can review their account details. Patients can talk to staff members who can explain clearly what payments are due and what they are for and discuss treatment options available. Private and Denplan patients will be charged for missed appointments or late cancellations (eg where less than 24 hours notice of cancellation given).
